CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER...

The Child Development Center is a ministry of Calallen Baptist Church. Our goal is to provide a loving and nurturing environment in which each child may develop to their greatest potential spiritually, emotionally, mentally, physically, and socially. We provide developmentally appropriate activities and guidance for each child as well as a ministry and outreach to each family.

Hours of Operation:	7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., Monday - Friday.
Ages:	Newborn through 5 years of age. An afterschool program is offered for students from Calallen ISD in kindergarten through third grade. Previously enrolled fourth and fifth graders may continue participation.
Curriculum:	The Weekday Early Education curriculum and other supplemental materials are appropriately designed for developmental stages of each child. This balanced program offers experience in music, art, math, science and language development through weekly units. All units have a biblical subject with supporting activities arranged in learning centers. Preschoolers will use the A Beka curriculum.  Contact the CDC for more information. 361.241.2496
Nutrition:	Breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack are provided in a four week rotating cycle. The center participates in the USDA child nutrition program.
