MUSIC MINISTRY...
Calallen Baptist Church has a unique music ministry that embraces a
variety of worship styles while focusing on the true object of worship,
God the Father. Our aim in worship is to celebrate what God is doing,
thank Him for His blessings, and then respond to God's presence through
loving service.
Worship Service - Sunday, 10:50 a.m.
A blended praise and worship event with the use of both traditional
hymns and contemporary choruses led by a praise team. This service also
incorporates a Worship Choir and soloists.
Praise Team
Group comprised of both vocalists and instrumentalists that are "lead
worshippers" each Sunday. Weekly rehearsals on Wednesday nights plus and
an early Sunday morning "run through", are required. If you would like
to be a part of this ministry in any way, please let Bro. Rick know.
Worship Choir
For youth and adults who want to add to the worship service musically
and want to have a weekly time of fellowship with some great people.
Also, this choir performs a Christmas Cantata each year.
We have rehearsal every Wednesday night in the choir room behind the baptistery
in the sanctuary at 7:30 p.m.
Come and join us anytime!
Soloists
Each week, we use soloists to add to the worship services. We're not
looking for professionals, but people with a heart for God that want to
sing for Him. I will work with anyone that needs some aid in preparing.
Children and youth are welcome to do solos too, just let Bro. Rick know.
